The character and appearance are the core and pride of each golf club. It is that character that, together with the social atmosphere, binds members, brings in outside players and connects business partners.
My work is a seamless fusion of two lifelong passions—golf and photography. For over three decades, I have honed my craft as both a player and a photographer, allowing me to capture the essence of golf courses in ways that resonate with the spirit of the game. As a former scratch golfer, I understand the nuances and beauty of every course, and through my photography, I aim to reflect that intricate relationship between sport, nature, and design.
With Hole 18, I’ve created a platform that allows golf clubs to elevate their image, capturing not just the sport but the very atmosphere and character that make each club unique. My mission is to go beyond the obvious, to photograph more than just greens and fairways, and to highlight the stories told by clubhouses, practice areas, and the people who bring these spaces to life.
Photography, to me, is a powerful medium—one that speaks when words fall short. My images aim to not only showcase the visual beauty of a golf course but also to evoke the emotions that one feels when standing on the tee, looking out over a perfectly manicured landscape. Every shot is an opportunity to tell a story, to invite viewers into an experience where the harmony of sport and nature takes center stage.
Through Hole 18, I hope to share this vision with golf clubs worldwide, ensuring that their first impression leaves a lasting impact.
